Young fashion brand Ben Sherman opens new store

Young fashion label Ben Sherman has opened a new outlet in London's Covent Garden with an interior design theme of Mods in the Mansion, including interesting features such as a stag head made of moped mirrors.
Sportswear International reports that the shop will be located on Long Acre and will feature young fashion items for both men and women, as well as accessories, all housed in a 1,500 sq ft space.
Those visiting the shop will also find a library, changing facilities that appear to be trophy rooms and powder rooms for ladies.
According to the news source, "a lifestyle feel" has been adopted by Ben Sherman for the ambiance of the flagship store, complete with "mood lighting and dark paint finishes on a traditional backdrop".
This comes after Drapers recently reported that Ben Sherman has hired new chief executive Pan Philippou to take the place of Miles Gray, who is to retire in January.
