Sports fashion to be featured at Pitti Uomo

A range of sports fashion wear for men is to be unveiled at the Pitti Uomo trade show in January.
In a collaboration with Italian-based manufacturer Mabro, Lars Nilsson - formerly Nina Ricci's womenswear designer - has revealed plans to launch his new collection, called Mr Nils, Sportswear International reports.
Alongside the sports fashion clothing, other tailoring, shoes and accessories will also be modelled during the show - which takes place between the 12th and 15th - and the entire collection is to be wholesaled across the world to specialty retailers.
Stating that he is both "thrilled and enthusiastic" about this upcoming project, Mr Nilsson was quoted by the magazine as saying he is "looking forward to building a modern, accessible luxury brand from the ground up".
The event itself is currently undergoing a revamp, with designer Patricia Urquiola reworking the central pavilion and bringing in pop-up boutiques that will be exhibiting luxury goods in time for January.
