Sports fashion brand opens new shop

Sports fashion and outdoor wear label Norrona has launched its first outlet in Oslo, Norway, which, aside from clothes, will also feature an information platform for those customers who are particularly interested in mountaineering and other adventurous pursuits.
Sportswear International reports that a series of lectures, films and expedition slideshows will be held at regular intervals in the shop.
However, it will also function as a normal store and will carry the entire range of Norrona's stock.
Chief executive and owner of the company Jorgen Jorgensen noted that this outlet will "[promote] the emotional customer loyalty and [motivate] the customers to stay and to come back any time".
According to the company's Facebook page - which has 2,635 fans - Norrona is a family-owned business that is based in Hvalstad, just outside Oslo. It works to produce outdoor equipment, such as high-end clothing, climbing and skiing accessories and backpacks, among other items.
