Luxury fashion label Daniel Hechter, which was founded in Paris in 1962, has announced that a new head of design for its womenswear department has been appointed.
Sportswear International reports that Nadja Grunenberg, who has previously worked for brands such as Windsor in Bielefeld, Taifun, Gil Bret and Rene Lezard, will be overseeing the collections in the future.
According to the news source, the brand, which "aims to offer wearable, sophisticated and creative fashion", plans to rework its clothing for women, having recently done so for its menswear division.
The company itself was acquired by Mittenberger Otto Aulbach GmbH in 1998 and has seven collections in total, spanning many different fashion spheres, including lingerie, shoes, sportswear, jewellery and writing accessories. Leather products and merchandise for the home can also be found.
Its ethos is to create a "lifestyle feeling combining European tradition with a sure sense of style and sporty chic with elegance".
