Fashion recruiters for high-end retailer Ben Sherman have hired a new chief executive to take the place of Miles Gray, who will be retiring in January.
Mr Gray will take up the role of non-executive chairman, paving the way for Pan Philippou, formerly of World Design & Trade, Drapers reports.
Previously having worked in similar roles for Diesel UK and the brands under Staff International, Mr Philippou commented that he intends his focus in his new position to be the continuation of the journey of the brand to "support its growth, repositioning and success".
He added that he is looking forward to the challenges ahead and plans to "[continue] the great work that Miles and his team have achieved".
Mr Gray remarked that he is confident that Mr Philippou will help the Ben Sherman brand to develop successfully.
In other news, young fashion company Superdry recently announced its intention to open a US-based store in Manhattan in November. The outlet will be located on 718 Broadway in the NoHo district of the city.
